Manchester Uni Round-table Discussion: Refugee Self-reliance in Cities

Our Development Coordinator participated in a round table discussion on Refugee self-reliance in cities, held by the University of Manchester on the 20th of June.

The event discussed the support provided for refugees in urban settings and how relevant civil society organisations work on tackling some of these needs within the lines of limited resources and excessive demand, and what role creativity plays in enhancing the quality level of services provided by these organisations.

The panel included speakers from ODI, Save the children UK, Migrants support migrants, in addition to our representative, Amaf Yousef from Rethink Rebuild Society
